Daniel del Río
Trained initially in music and sound, and actively involved in the underground improvised music scene, he developed an interest in electroacoustic composition beginning in 2011. Since 2021, he specialized in audio postproduction at Berklee College of Music and currently combines freelance practice with giving lectures at various institutions, such as the Istituto Europeo di Design and the Basque Country Film School.
His works have been presented both individually and collaboratively throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas; in venues such as MNCARS, Kölner Philharmonie, HCMFestival, White Cube NY, Hundred Years Gallery, MediaLab-Prado, CeReNeM, Matadero Madrid, Stahel Gallery, OTO Space, among others.
He is currently living in Gernika, in the Basque Country.
